4 Habits to Make This Week Yours + Social Dilemma

Hello Folks,

Welcome to today’s edition of Noteworthy—where simplicity meets intentionality.

In any moment on any given day I can measure my wellness by this question:

Is my attention on loving or is my attention on who isn't loving me?

Andrea Gibson

In a world filled with urgency, it's easy for your week to slip away with personal and professional demands pulling you in every direction.

But what if we flipped the script? Small, consistent actions can transform your entire week. It’s not about overloading yourself—it’s all about precision and focus.

Here are 4 simple habits to help you regain control and make real progress:

1. Define Your "Wins" Early

Starting your week without clarity leads to busy work—tasks that may keep you moving but don’t propel you forward. Instead, try defining what a “win” looks like.

Ask yourself: what 3-5 key outcomes will define success this week? Write them down and keep them visible to remind yourself of the bigger picture.

2. Become Aware of Your Energy"

It’s not the hours that exhaust you—it’s where and how you invest your energy. Start noticing what fuels you and what drains you.

Track your week in colours: green for energizing activities, red for draining ones.

Once you see the patterns, you can start tweaking your schedule—whether it's batching, adjusting, or eliminating the energy drains.

3. Time-Bound Your Admin Tasks

Admin work expands to fill the time you give it. Instead of letting it scatter through your day, create a sprint.

Dedicate a focused 30-minute block each day to knock out those tasks.

The time-bound focus will not only increase your efficiency but free up headspace for higher-value work.

4. Invest 2% of Your Day in Future You

That’s just 30 minutes. Whether it’s learning, brainstorming, or meeting someone new, this small investment can set the foundation for the future you want.

It's the tiny steps that make the difference. Over time, they add up to something far greater.

Consistency over intensity—that’s the name of the game.

An impromptu experiment:

Last weekend, I sent out a quick email to our entire community, asking for feedback.

Within two hours, we had 30+ responses! It was a simple gesture, but the impact was huge.

This reminded me how valuable it is to engage directly—and how often we should do it.

The feedback has given me clearer direction, and it's something I’ll be incorporating more frequently moving forward.

On another note, our native app work is in full swing, and things are shaping up faster than ever! 😄

Community Corner:

🎬 Netflix Pick: The Social Dilemma

If you're looking to rethink how you approach productivity and your relationship with technology, The Social Dilemma is a must-watch.

This documentary sheds light on how social media and technology are designed to capture attention and influence behavior, often at the cost of focus and intentionality.

It's a powerful reminder to take control of your time, limit distractions, and be mindful of how you engage with digital platforms.

Sometimes, a fresh perspective on how the digital world impacts us can spark meaningful changes in how we manage our daily lives 🙃

your next weekend watch is sorted.
